Your Role
We are seeking a Social Media Intern to join our marketing team this summer. This is an incredible opportunity to learn and grow alongside leaders and industry experts within an AI-powered tech company. You'll gain hands-on experience in social media strategy, content creation, and engagement analytics to support Dialpad's online presence.
This internship will be hybrid, with a minimum of 2 days in the office, located in San Ramon. The intern manager will be the Social Media Manager. The program will run from June 16 to August 15, 2025.
About the Team
Dialpad's Social Media team is responsible for:
- Managing corporate social media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Creating engaging content that builds brand awareness and fosters community engagement.
- Monitoring and responding to social media interactions to enhance audience relationships.
- Tracking and analyzing social media performance to optimize strategies.
About You
You're a detail-oriented student with a passion for marketing and social media. You enjoy content creation, engagement strategies, and analyzing trends to drive brand awareness. You're data-driven yet creative, with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to learn about B2B marketing.
Skills You'll Bring
- Current student majoring in English, communications, or marketing.
- Hybrid with at least 2 days in the office.
- Local to San Ramon area (or will be for the summer).
- 60-90 days preferred (10 business weeks).
- To be interviewed (both for our vetting and for your practice).
What You Will Achieve In your first 30 days you will:
- Become familiar with social media management tools for scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
- Assist in monitoring social media channels for trending topics and relevant discussions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on social media content development and execution.
By the end of your internship you will have:
- Gained hands-on experience in social media marketing and strategy.
- Assisted in implementing a content strategy and analyzing performance metrics.
- Managed a social media editorial calendar.
- Worked cross-functionally with HR, Demand Generation, and Content teams.
