Position: UI Developer
Description
We’re seeking a versatile senior UI developer to create web UI for a new eCommerce platform for one of the largest US retailers. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute significantly to the project, design the frontend architecture, and continuously improve the web UI.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building web applications using standards-based approaches (HTML5, CSS3, PHP, AJAX, Sprint MVC)
- Knowledge of Semantic HTML markup
- Experience with server-side technologies like JSP, Java, and Java Servlets (or similar technologies)
- Effective communication skills across teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with passion for building world-class frontend applications
- Ability to work seamlessly in a cross-functional team environment
Preferred/Optional Skills
- Understanding of responsive design techniques
- Knowledge of high-performance web application development
- Good sense of user interface design
