The Kind Of Work Youll Be Doing
Lead the manager of the platform strategy, executive producer, and manager of the social media team as a media cohort to ensure the integration of a cohesive, owned storytelling strategy across all channels with regular audio and video distribution and posting cadence, plus the delivery of top-quality content meeting FamilyLife editorial standards.
Manage systems and processes for executing channel-specific communications strategies (audio, video, social media).
Implement effective development and training of associated agencies and freelancers to ensure alignment with FamilyLife brand guidelines, tone, and voice.
Build multi-channel media strategies based on organizations needsaudio, video, and social media.
Pitch media plans to leadership and external agencies
Collect metrics and evaluate performance
Manage the relationships of various agencies and freelancers to develop and test innovative digital, audio, and video content. Oversee media buying and agency relationships.
Recommend media placement based on target demographics
Design media test plans, track performance, and evaluate the result
Coordinate forecasts and budgeting with other members of the team.
Manage risks and external dependencies for each phase of delivery.
Oversee performance across digital media portfolio.
Consistently drive fully integrated digital media programs that deliver on revenue goals.
Interpret the organization's goals, needs, and limitations
Required Experience
Bachelor's Degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or related field. Nonprofit management; Masters Degree a plus.
Minimum 7+ years of broadcasting/video production management experience and leadership in cross-functional team environments.
5+ years of leadership experience in broadcast media
5+ years of leadership experience in executing digital marketing and communications strategies
