Description Lead personalization for the Apple TV app for TV, Movies, and Sports content Drive customer delight and engagement by creating a more simple, more effortless TV viewing experience Blend curation, algorithms, and new technologies to innovate how customers find what to watch Build consensus with several cross-functional teams around both a long-term vision and short-term features that show measurable outcomes Partner with data science teams and align with business and editorial teams to set common metrics for success Write clear and concise product requirements that capture the vision, goals, and key elements of new products and features Work with engineering teams to deliver features, validating with internal betas and AB tests Create internal and external go-to-market messaging, socialize outcomes, and champion iterations for features Take strong positions based on evidence, but be willing to make smart compromises Minimum Qualifications 8+ years of product experience in content personalization Experience with the full product lifecycle, from vision and requirements to build, launch, marketing, analysis, iteration and sunset Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify while keeping clarity Ability to independently create and deliver winning presentations and align diverse partners to a shared vision Expertise with product analytics, customer insights, and data storytelling Fluency with experimentation and using AB testing for feature validation Willingness to travel between Apple offices as needed Preferred Qualifications Expertise in building media content personalization that blends the best of editorial and algorithmic curation Ability to thrive and drive decisions in a debate-focused environment Capacity to do the right thing for customers while still meeting business goals Knowledge of the competitive set and curiosity around evolving consumer trends An appreciation for design and an understanding of how UI drives discovery Prior work experience or strong interest in digital media, sports and/or entertainment Familiarity with user experiences across screens, from TV to mobile to tablet Experience working on digital products with a global footprint At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $195,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
