Responsibilities
- Serves as primary point of content for content marketing team, leading strategy
- Provides clear content direction for copywriters as needed
- Works with team members to bring the content vision to life
- Develops scalable content approaches that can be leveraged across the bank as other teams look to develop similar strategies
- Able to execute in a brand voice and tone
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, with an emphasis on English, Writing, Technical Writing, Journalism, Content Strategy, Communications or Library Science preferred, or equivalent experience
- Good understanding of the principles of content strategy and digital best practices
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent time management, interpersonal, and communication skills; self-starter
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
- Agility in thinking and delivery along with proven ability to take direction in support of company goals
- Able to balance changing workloads and priorities
- Comfortable working with new Gen AI platforms to facilitate content generation first drafts
- Experience in a matrixed organization
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Three years of financial services experience in either banking, Fintech, or consumer lending desired
- 6+ years of content strategy experience
- Experience with the Adobe suite of products
- Experience working in agile methodology and/or within a journey team
