The Senior Manager, Learning & Leadership Development – User Experience will lead beginning-to-end research, measurement, and design processes to improve user experience across the YMCA’s national knowledge-sharing platform (i.e., extranet) and learning technology platforms (e.g., LMS). Design and execute the annual continuous improvement plan around the overall experience, user behavior and interaction, and visual design.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience in a relevant field such as UX Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Information Sciences, or Human-Computer Interaction required. Master’s degree in one of these fields and/or certificate in UX/UI (e.g., Neilsen Norman Group, Google UX Design Professional) preferred.
- Minimum three years of experience working in web or digital design, user research, and usability testing.
- Knowledge and skills desired: online community management, stakeholder management, Agile project management, understanding of the human-centered design process, cross-functional team collaboration.
- Ability to travel 25 percent of the time.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook) required.
- Experience with/capacity to learn and navigate multiple technology systems and software programs (e.g., Zoom, Salesforce, MangoApps, Figma Pro, Articulate, and YMCA-specific applications).
- Demonstrated strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environment and circumstances and to guide others in support of change management.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with individuals across a broad range of groups.
- Organizational and time management skills required.
