Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct User Research – Plan and implement qualitative and quantitative studies such as interviews, surveys, usability tests, and ethnographic research.
- Analyze User Behavior – Synthesize research data to identify user needs, pain points, and behavioral patterns to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams – Work closely with designers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders to integrate user insights into product development.
- Develop User Personas & Journeys – Create detailed personas, journey maps, and workflows to illustrate user experiences and guide design strategies.
- Test Prototypes & Products – Conduct usability testing on wireframes, prototypes, and live products to evaluate functionality, accessibility, and overall user experience.
- Translate Research into Actionable Insights – Present findings and recommendations through reports, presentations, and workshops.
- Stay Informed on UX Trends & Best Practices – Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging research methods, and evolving user expectations.
- Advocate for the User – Promote user needs within the organization, ensuring a human-centered approach in product and experience development.
- Measure UX Impact – Assess the success of design solutions using KPIs, usability metrics, and post-launch feedback.
- Build & Maintain Research Repositories – Organize research documentation to ensure insights are accessible and reusable across teams.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least ten years of successful UX research experience, preferably in ecommerce product-driven businesses.
- Understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles.
- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including user interviews, usability testing, ethnography, surveys, A/B testing, and analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Up-to-date knowledge of UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Experience researching B2C ecommerce websites and apps.
- Extensive digital and mobile research experience.
- Ability to present research findings compellingly and guide stakeholders to optimal solutions.
- Creative and effective problem-solving skills in collaborative environments.
- Excellent research skills with sensitivity to user interactions across various touchpoints and systems.
- Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma is a plus.
