As a Lead UX Researcher in a Strategy role, you will not just discover problems and opportunities through user research, but also have the opportunity to drive research impact into products through mapping, sketching, conceptual design, IA, wireframing, prototyping, testing and iterating. Production of development-ready designs leveraging our design system will be supported through close partnership with our Creative Experience Design team. The Lead UX Researcher in a Strategy role takes a leadership position in user-centered product development. In addition, you will rapidly identify and remediate usability issues through expert reviews and usability testing. Core Responsibilities:
- Determine research priorities through evaluation of products and roadmaps, working with product teams to align research with business objectives. This may include discovery research, design activities, design feedback, usability testing and more.
- Plan and execute rapid, agile research in a fast-paced industry environment. Use mixed methods, flexibly applying approaches to quickly obtain the research learnings that will provide answers to key questions.
- Present actionable findings to cross-functional teams and stakeholders to impact portfolio strategy, product strategy and UX strategy. Design and test concepts and prototypes to drive product R&D forward.
- Embed with product teams and project manage the user-centered process and stakeholder engagement, and collaborate with UI-focused designers to prioritize work and ensure delivery at high quality and high speed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our processes and templates to drive excellence throughout the research and design organization
- Stay informed about research trends and methodologies, bringing innovation and continuous improvement to the research and UX strategy practice.
- 5+ years of experience conducting user research and product design in a professional setting or equivalent academic training and demonstrable track record of success in the field
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to advocate for research-driven decisions with product teams.
- Expertise in a range of research methods and the application of appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods in diverse situations. Proficiency in statistical methods.
- Strong Competency in design thinking, product thinking, workshop facilitation and design/prototyping with tools such as Figma.
- Proficiency in understanding foundational AI concepts and design considerations for AI.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, clinical trial, medical device or healthcare industries.
- Experience in B2B software.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $87,000.00 - $217,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
