Overview
We are looking for a Freelance Assistant Technical Designer for a top fashion company in New York City.
Responsibilities:
Represent the Company interest of universal and consistent fit and proper construction Assist Tech Designer with daily tasks Sit in/ assist on fit sessions Assist Tech Designer to create/ write/ update reports. Measuring samples against required specs, reporting results Communicate with Designers/factories/ vendors Maintain written reports, records and samples Update patterns for sending to factories Perform other duties as assigned Able to work in a hybrid environment, which may/will require working in person/in-office for a portion or all of a week based on the needs of the business In person/in-office collaboration may be required for work centralized around product development, milestone meetings, fittings, and approvals.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Fashion or equivalent (or equivalent experience and education). Ability to act as liaison between many departments; excellent communication and analytical skills. Must be detail oriented, computer literate and able to handle multiple tasks at once
