LOCATION: Fort Wayne
The University of Saint Francis is excited to announce the search for a dynamic leader to fill the role of Music Technology Program Director. This position offers a unique blend of direct teaching, program development, and administrative leadership.
The University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position in our Division of Creative Arts with a preferred start date of August 2025 (start date is negotiable). The position requires a specialization in music technology with experience, success, and interest in offering courses in audio mastering and distribution, audio for film, video, games, and animation, as well as immersive audio and Dolby Atmos leading to careers in music production, live event sound and production, and content creation. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader ready to teach, shape curriculum, grow the program, and manage faculty. The teaching load is 9 credit hours per semester (fall and spring). Other responsibilities include student advising, budget oversight, curriculum review and reporting, special events, record keeping, program recruitment, alumni and community engagement, continuing professional development and a commitment to collaboration and service within the Division, across the University and in the community. The successful candidate must be able to advance the Catholic and Franciscan Mission of the University. Rank and salary are dependent upon the appointee’s qualifications and experience. A candidate with a Master’s Degree in Music Technology or related field is required for this position.
