Do you have:
- A passion for using your technical skills to share the Good News of Jesus
- Experience in engineering (electrical preferred)
- A desire to work in media broadcasting
- The ability and desire to live and work overseas
- Sensitivity to cross-cultural issues
- A willingness to work with local partners on a multi-cultural team
- Imagination to see and exploit opportunities that may arise
- The ability and desire to go to the field now (within 1 year), including time to raise your missionary support and/or be self-funded
- A willingness to learn the local language (Spanish)
We are looking for an engineer to participate in the design, selection, development and/or installation of broadcast or other media equipment and systems for the HCJB radio station in Quito, Ecuador. Join our team at HCJB and be a part of engaging and equipping Latin American listeners with the truths of the gospel and mobilizing the Ecuadorian church in missionary work.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering
- At least two years of experience preferred
- High proficiency in using computer programs especially related to mass media and basic office use
- Proficiency in computer programming and software engineering, especially embedded systems is a plus.
- Ministry experience through a church or other like-minded mission agency is a plus
All candidates must be able to sign the Reach Beyond Statement of Faith.
