Summary: We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer with a strong UX background to champion the strategic thinking and to help launch a new product for higher education. You'll partner closely with content, product, and engineering teams and be responsible for creating new UX based on existing design components and also defining the North Star vision. You will be challenged in an organization that values vision, execution, and persistence. You will take ownership of our product by solving complex problems in simple, elegant ways. Responsibilities: Define and create the user flows for full end to end experience Create high and low fidelity flows & prototypes Collaborate with product and engineering teams throughout the product development process Understand and advocate foruser needs Define key metrics to track success and business impact Maintain clear team alignment around goals and priorities Approach an open-ended problem space with vigor and clarity Think holistically about the user journey and product ecosystem Guide user research and testing, ensuring usability and product consistency Be data-driven and iteratively improve the experience Design for AI-driven teaching and learning experiences Qualifications: 7 years product design experience with an online portfolio of relevant design work Skilled in design at the detail and systems level Confident communicator who can clearly articulate your process, approach, and rationale to others Experience working in a collaborative team comprised of other designers, content strategists, product managers, and developers Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders at a time,& knowing when to push for polish and when "good enough" is good enough Prior experience defining and leading user research efforts Awareness of design trends across web and mobile devices Understanding the relationship of visual, interaction, and content disciplines Expert proficiency in design tools such as Figma (preferred) and Adobe Creative Suite Experience with educational content (preferred) Desired Skills: Problem-solving - not just making things pretty, but solving real user and business problems in an environment that has dependencies / tech limitations User research - experience running tests on your designs, being able to interpret findings and iterating your work based on collected data & themes. Time management - juggling multiple projects, knowing when to push for polish and when “good enough” is good enough. Cross-functional collaboration - working smoothly with product, engineers, and other designers. Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $71.00 - $72.00 /hr . Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
