We are seeking a Senior UX Designer with a strong portfolio of crafting elegant, intuitive user experiences across native Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android applications. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives at the intersection of user-centric design and secure product development, someone who understands how to translate complex technical requirements into streamlined, consistent user experiences across platforms.
You’ll work closely with UI developers, product managers, and security engineers to ensure usability and security go hand in hand. Your contributions will directly impact products designed for high-trust environments where privacy, data protection, and ease of use are non-negotiable.
This team is targeting candidates in the U.S. who can work ONSITE in Nashville-TN. Relocation Assistance provided (This is not a remote position).
As a member of the User Experience team, you will develop and apply software design/usability processes in the investigation of technical problems. May develop user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation and task and objective analyses. Provide product usability, evaluation and support to product development teams, including the analysis and investigation of applications/systems including tactile methods, visual graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and conversational user interaction. May assist in developing design concept and implementation, providing input on user design considerations. May produce specifications describing user needs and internal structures for product in development.
Key Responsibilities
- Own UX design for cross-platform applications, ensuring consistent, intuitive experiences across desktop and mobile environments (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
- Collaborate with engineers, security teams, and product managers to gather requirements and translate them into wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and detailed interaction specifications.
- Design for both usability and security, working to make authentication, encryption, and permission management user-friendly without compromising protection.
- Use data-driven decision making, incorporating user research, usability testing, analytics, and behavioural data to inform and validate design decisions.
- Develop and maintain design systems that promote scalability, accessibility, and brand consistency across platforms.
- Balance technical constraints and security considerations with user needs, advocating for simplicity and clarity in complex systems.
- Conduct and synthesize user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with UI/visual designers to ensure pixel-perfect execution while aligning with platform-specific guidelines (e.g., Oracle Redwood Design System, Apple HIG, Material Design, Fluent UI,).
- Provide mentorship and peer feedback, helping grow design maturity across the organization.
- 6+ years of professional experience in UX or product design, with a strong emphasis on native application design for both desktop and mobile platforms.
- Proven success designing for secure, data-sensitive enterprise applications, ideally in cloud-based or regulated environments.
- Experience designing for or integrating with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including administrative interfaces, monitoring dashboards, or identity workflows.
- Familiarity with the Oracle Redwood Design System or comparable enterprise design systems, with a focus on consistency, scalability, and accessibility in complex environments.
- Strong proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision.
- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex workflows involving security, access control, or user provisioning across platforms.
- Solid understanding of cross-platform interaction patterns on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and how they apply in enterprise and multi-platform UX.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with engineering, product, and security teams.
- A portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX design, particularly for enterprise-grade or secure native applications.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
