ANTICIPATED DURATION: 6-month contract, potential to extend/convert (full benefits offered)

Content/AEM Author Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, and implement content based on the client’s content strategy, including voice and tone, and customer-/business-centric site goals
• Review content with peers and senior content strategists to ensure accurate representation of content strategies
• Formally observe user interviews and usability sessions
• Analyze and understand end-to-end customer experiences to maintain consistency in voice/tone/construction and technical accuracy
• Assist in gathering requirements and assessing content needs for various projects
• Update content logs, copy documents, CMS, and other documentation systems
• Provide strategic content recommendations and writing/editing support for UX teams, product managers, business lines, and other stakeholders
• Advocate for and embody a customer-centric perspective to drive enriching experiences
• Apply and update existing content strategies to accommodate new products and campaigns
• Validate that content is correctly and accurately implemented across all platforms

Content/AEM Author Requirements:

• Basic understanding of content strategy and information architecture
• Strong command of punctuation and grammar
• Experience with user-centered design from concept to delivery
• Experience working across desktop, mobile, and in-person environments
• Knowledge of content strategy and UX best practices
• Familiarity with content creation processes, content inventories and audits, mapping/modeling, voice/tone guidelines, and governance documentation
• Experience with data collection and analysis
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work quickly

Content/AEM Author Preferred Experience:

• Strong attention to detail; experience with content in highly regulated industries preferred
• Proven ability to create and execute website content plans; migration experience a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to work independently and adapt to changing project needs
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5 years of relevant professional experience

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $55-60/hr (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
