We are seeking a
Visual Design & Construction (VDC) Engineer
to develop and manage
Virtual Design and Construction models
for large-scale projects. This role will collaborate closely with
project managers, architects, and field teams
to enhance
project planning, coordination, and execution
using advanced VDC technologies. Key Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and maintain
Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) models
throughout project lifecycles. Integrate
Building Information Modeling (BIM) and VDC processes
into design and construction workflows. Collaborate with
project managers, architects, and field teams
to improve planning, coordination, and efficiency. Conduct
clash detection and constructability reviews
using VDC software. Assist with
4D scheduling, model-based estimating, and logistics planning . Ensure VDC models meet
project standards, compliance requirements, and client expectations . Train and support
internal teams and subcontractors
in utilizing VDC technology. Research and implement
emerging technologies
to enhance visualization and digital construction processes. Qualifications & Skills:
Experience with
VDC software
such as
Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, Synchro, or Trimble . Understanding of
construction processes, virtual coordination, and model-based workflows . Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills to
integrate VDC with field operations . Ability to work in
fast-paced, deadline-driven environments . Visa considerations
may affect wage and employment eligibility
based on project location.
