About This Role
Writer is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Content to oversee our content strategy and operations. This executive role is designed for a visionary leader passionate about crafting compelling content that engages and inspires audiences. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in content strategy, production, and management, and will be adept at leading a creative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company’s brand, objectives, and market needs.
- Craft and oversee the development of industry-leading content that showcases our vision for AI in the enterprise, highlighting innovative uses, case studies, and thought leadership.
- Lead and expand the content team, including writers, editors, and content strategists, to produce high-quality content across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product, and sales, to ensure that content strategy complements and enhances business goals.
- Oversee the management of all content operations, ensuring a consistent and effective content lifecycle from ideation to publication.
- Establish a federated brand center of excellence that allows other marketing departments to develop their own content while adhering to overarching guidelines, facilitating sharing of best practices, tools, and resources to ensure brand consistency and effective localized content strategies.
- Analyze content performance and market trends to refine and optimize the content strategy continuously.
- Maintain high content quality standards and consistency across all channels and media.
- Drive innovation in content formats and delivery methods, staying ahead of industry trends and technological advancements.
- Manage content partnerships and relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and other providers.
- Develop and manage the content budget, ensuring effective resource allocation to achieve strategic goals.
Is this you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in content creation, strategy, and management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven success in developing content strategies and leading content teams targeting large enterprise customers.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating and guiding a creative team.
- Deep understanding of content metrics and analytics, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience with digital platforms, SEO, social media, and content marketing.
- Innovative thinker passionate about storytelling and audience engagement.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
