Financial Resources Federal Credit Union (FRFCU) is looking for a VP Marketing & Strategic Development to join our Marketing team in making a difference in peoples' lives.
The Vice President, Marketing & Strategic Growth will lead the strategic approach and tactical execution of Financial Resources' marketing, data insights, and membership/revenue growth efforts. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan for marketing; generating and analyzing data to inform strategies and tactics, championing the FRFCU brand; deploying multichannel tactics that include digital, print, and social media; participating in community engagement on behalf of the credit union, and driving both membership and revenue growth for the organization.

Some of your essential duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Data Analysis: Handle the collection and analysis of credit union data and making data accessible to enhance business processes. Data analysis responsibilities typically include:
- Data Mining: Extracting valuable insights from datasets to identify correlations and patterns.
- Data Organization: Structuring and transforming information into clear, comprehensible formats.
- Trend Analysis: Utilizing data to forecast trends within the customer base and broader consumer population.
- Statistical Analysis: Conducting thorough statistical evaluations of data to derive meaningful conclusions.
- Report Preparation: Compiling reports and effectively presenting findings to management or clients.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand data content and specific business requirements.
- Strategic Marketing Development: Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the credit union's objectives to grow membership, increase product adoption, enhance brand identity, and meet revenue targets.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and manage data collection to analyze market conditions, consumer preferences, and member experiences, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Behavioral Insights: Utilize advanced analytical tools to assess member behaviors and life cycle data, extracting insights to personalize member experiences, enhance engagement strategies, and improve retention rates.
- Multi-Channel Campaign Management: Oversee and manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media platforms, ensuring alignment with business units to meet overarching business goals.
- Brand Consistency: Lead the development and management of the credit union's brand, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels that resonates with target markets.
- Digital Engagement Strategies: Develop and execute digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and online advertising initiatives to boost overall brand awareness and member engagement, with a strong focus on enhancing the credit union's social media presence.
- Community Engagement: Identify and cultivate relationships with local community organizations and business associations to drive growth, expand market presence, and support local initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments to improve return on investment (ROI).
- Net Promoter Score (NPS) Oversight: Manage the NPS program by analyzing survey results, ensuring thorough member feedback processes, and providing recommendations for improvements based on insights gained.
- Team Development & Leadership: Foster a positive and engaging work environment by promoting skill development, coaching for improvement, inspiring team members, and upholding the credit union's core values and guiding principles.
Other Duties:
- Community Representation: Act as a primary representative for the credit union within local communities, participating in civic, community, and business activities to enhance the organization's image.
- Budget Management: Prepare and oversee the annual marketing budget, conducting vendor evaluations and negotiating contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities adhere to federal and state regulations and industry standards.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to foster collaboration and ensure the success of marketing initiatives.
- Branch Engagement: Conduct branch visits to ensure visual consistency with the corporate image and gather employee insights into current practices and programs.
- Audit Collaboration: Collaborate with the Audit and Risk Management department as necessary to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Policy Implementation: Review, update, and implement marketing policies and procedures as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the overall mission of the credit union.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Management or comparable combination of education and related business experience.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in marketing with a minimum of five (5) years at a senior leadership level focused on strategic planning initiatives and data-driven decision making.
- Solid knowledge of state-of-the-times marketing, customer experience, brand identity, and product development.
- Exceptional presentation skills and business acumen. Exceptional analytical, communication, planning and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage resources effectively and efficiently, manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
- Proven track record of achieving goals and established deliverables on time and for regular use of KPI's.
