The Senior Account Manager will oversee and execute key priorities for clients in various sectors. This role involves generating targeted media outreach to drive communications and media awareness through editorial placements (long and short lead), social media engagement, influencer partnerships, and high-impact PR strategies for product launches and events. The SAM will collaborate cross-functionally with team members and work closely with clients to ensure alignment on key initiatives. They will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously while delivering strategies that meet or exceed communication goals and lead targets.
Seeking Senior Account Manager-level professionals with brand comms experience in lifestyle, spirits, travel + hospitality, sports, cpg, beauty/wellness or fashion.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage approximately 5 - 8 accounts and projects.
- Consistently pitch and secure media coverage on behalf of clients.
- Write, proof, and edit a variety of PR and marketing materials.
- Develop compelling stories and draft compelling narratives on behalf of clients.
- Lead client communications, programs and campaigns from planning to execution within the specified budget.
- Pull and collaborate with other divisions across the agency to ensure the client is getting access to the agency’s network-wide expertise.
- Deliver strong media coverage consistently producing high-quality internal and external communications content.
- Grow and nurture connections with leading and emerging editorial talents.
- Develop press relationships and manage contacts with key commentators, industry spokespeople, and influencers.
- Oversee junior staff to review client agendas, recap reports, and clips.
- Provide strategic counsel in collaboration with the account leadership as needed.
- Work in-office a minimum of 3 days per week.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- 5 - 7 years of PR agency experience working with cpg, fashion, lifestyle, and/or travel and hospitality brands; luxury experience is a plus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the various industries, including trends and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in securing impactful media placements.
- Strong networking abilities with a proven capacity to build relationships with key influencers, media, and industry leaders.
- Exceptional project management skills, with a focus on organization and strategic planning.
- Superior written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities to foster collaboration and maintain strong professional relationships.
