Compensation
Hourly base pay rate is $14.71 - $22.12/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Job Description
This position is responsible for taking pre- and post-recon photos on our main lot, and TRA photographs of vehicles as defined by Image Standards using our MIC 2.0 application. The Vehicle Photographer will also handle Photo Booth processing and support uploading images captured during inspections. This is an outside position, requiring photos to be taken in various weather conditions.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Capture and process electronic images of vehicles.
- Upload all pictures associated with electronic condition reports (ECR) and verify their quality and accuracy.
- Maintain knowledge of the Digital Quality Image (DQI) website.
- Re-image or request re-imaging of substandard images.
- Process vehicles through the Photo Booth following SOPs if equipped.
- Follow all safety and health procedures, actively participate in safety activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Minimum
- High School Diploma/GED
- Less than 2 years’ experience in a related field
- Valid driver’s license; safe driving required
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
- Manual dexterity for repetitive tasks
- Vision abilities including close, distance, and depth perception
Preferred
- 1 year of photography experience, digital and computer processing skills preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Photography certification or education a plus
Work Environment
- Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions
Drug Testing
Pre-employment drug test required. Cox Automotive does not test for marijuana but maintains a drug-free workplace. Possession or use of illegal drugs during work hours or on company property is prohibited.
