The Vertex Co-op Program offers students the opportunity to learn about the pharmaceutical industry from a hands-on perspective. You will be working closely with and learning from some of the brightest people in the industry. Job Summary : The Corporate Communications team works cross-functionally with multiple teams across the company to advance and protect our reputation as a different kind of biotech company – one focused on serial innovation to create transformative medicines for people with serious diseases. As an intern/Co-op on the Digital Communications team you will assist with the day-to-day management of Vertex’s Corporate digital platforms. This includes social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube) as well as our corporate website, vrtx.com. In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to the content creation, digital strategy, audience targeting, and analysis of performance metrics. Key Responsibilities : Own Vertex’s Corporate social media content calendar and manage website updates tracker. Work alongside content producers to help distribute content via the appropriate digital platforms and target audiences. Monitor and respond to comments, mentions, and direct messages on social media in a timely and compliant manner. Gain an understanding of Vertex’s digital strategy and how to reach various audiences on each social channel. Track, report, and provide analysis of social media and website metrics and post-campaign performance. Support paid social and search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns coordinating between Vertex team and paid media agency. Collaborate with Vertex’s digital team to track the latest digital trends and ensure a unified user experience across Vertex’s digital platforms. Qualifications : Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing/Communications, Public Relations, Analytics, Business, Project Management. Strong writing and editing skills. Strong interest in digital trends and analytics. Team oriented. Data driven. Legal authorization to work in the United States, now and in the future. Candidate must be enrolled in an advanced degree program if graduating before July 2025. Candidate must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week from July - December 2025. Pay Range:
20.00 – 32.00 USD/hour Program Dates:

Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
