Insight Global is hiring for a Court Reporter to observe a courtroom and monitor the status and progression of a trial in Los Angeles, CA. The estimated length of the trial is 7-10 days starting the week of March 3rd. No legal experience is required, but the ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills and the ability to document proceedings accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Attend court sessions each morning starting at 8:30am
- Observe and document the status and progression of the trial, focusing on the overall proceedings rather than the judge’s behavior
- Maintain discretion and respect for privacy and confidentiality
- Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of the trial proceedings
- Attentiveness and the ability to stay focused throughout the trial
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to document proceedings accurately
- Understanding of courtroom etiquette and proceedings
- Discretion and respect for privacy and confidentiality
Pay:
Pay range is $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr based on experience.
