Overview
Stoke is creating new solutions to the hardest problems in aerospace. Its development path is exciting, dynamic, and full of twists. As the VP of Marketing, Branding, and Communications at a fast-growth startup, your job will be to tell this story to multiple audiences on behalf of the company. Your scope will include defining strategic direction and executing campaigns, and your canvasses will include social media, print media, visual media, long-form writing, community outreach, live broadcasts, and other outlets. In the long run, you will build a team to achieve these goals, and in the short term you will identify and manage outside contractors, consultants, or agencies. You must be ready to stay focused, move fast, self-direct, and learn on the fly.
Responsibilities
Work directly with the executive team to define and execute the marketing, branding, and communications strategies
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the industry landscape
Monitor and track significant company milestones and put plans in place to create supporting content
Develop, maintain, and evolve brand identity
Produce sales documents, promotional content, and other literature
Manage social media accounts
Produce/shoot/edit videos and photos
Qualifications
Experience managing internal and outsourced creative teams
Ability to translate business needs into strong visual and written content
Proven ability to concept, script, produce, and edit compelling visual content from start to finish
Proven ability to develop brand presence through social media
Proven ability to develop impactful written content for multiple audiences
Experience working with or around traditional media outlets
Willingness to travel
Willingness to work long hours and weekends in support of critical project milestones

Level 6: $150,000 - $220,000
