In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development of a cutting-edge underwriting and operational framework while establishing a center of excellence for delegated authority. You will oversee the entire delegated authority lifecycle, ensuring operational due diligence is upheld and that data standards are meticulously maintained. Your responsibilities will include managing due diligence processes, onboarding initiatives, underwriting referrals, pricing assessments, and nurturing relationships with program administrators and managing general agents (MGAs). To be successful in this role, you must possess at least 10 years of experience in underwriting or MGA-delegated business and have a deep understanding of delegated authority underwriting within relevant regulatory environments. Strong leadership capabilities, a strategic outlook, and the ability to define and communicate a clear vision are essential. We seek candidates with proven experience in building and leading new business units, coupled with excellent communication skills that allow for effective influence and negotiation.
