Essential Functions • Lead in-house team of creative professionals, both on-site and throughout branch offices • The VP of Marketing is expected to become a brand advocate and ambassador, staying in touch with our corporate office and building a strong understanding of services and offerings provided by the brand; while communicating its value to the marketing team, our sales managers, and agents • Work closely with key marketing team members and company executives to ensure our marketing services and deliverables are aligned with our brand identity • Oversee and coordinate all marketing projects (full cycle: from concept, initiation, implementation, to post-launch trainings), and clearly communicate their value to our agents • Liaise with our branch office sales team members and their agents to executive strategic marketing initiatives • Develop and supervise a department budget, to include products and services provided by the company • Work on and improve the current marketing plan, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and available resources • Ensure that all communications - PR, social media, collateral materials, newsletters, and other content - has a cohesive message and is brand-centric • Coach, mentor, evaluate and develop the marketing team (to include recruiting and training) • Lead by example; foster an 'open door' culture, where honesty and team collaboration are valued • Participate in the development and execution of paid search campaigns aimed at client acquisition, lead and referral generation, ancillary services acquisitions, etc. • Create and maintain a catalog of the company's marketing products and services • Work closely with our web partners to ensure the company's website and online presence is optimized • Maintain and develop strong relationships across departments and with our media vendors • Generate reports that summarize and present data in a clear and concise manner, as requested • Identify marketing opportunities - while working with leadership - based on research and analysis on competing brokerages • Manage communications from leadership to agents and our company database, promoting listings and initiatives, as needed • Conduct meetings with our agents to understand their needs and assist with their marketing plans • Organize and coordinate company events and the execution of sponsored activities, as needed • Conduct monthly meetings with the marketing team and one-on-one performance reviews • Support CEO, President, and COO with special projects (i.e., M&As, etc.), as needed
Requirements • A solid understanding of the affluent consumer market; must have a creative eye • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience • Experience managing customer-centric marketing teams • Ability to drive engagement, present concepts to a sales-oriented audience, our partners, and clients • Able to organize, plan, execute and prioritize projects, ensuring high levels of agent satisfaction • Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of interacting and cooperating with the company's management team, staff, and all stakeholders • Creative self-starter, yet poised and mature in outlook and demeanor • Strategic thinker; able to make meaningful contributions to the company's short- and long- term plans • Able to analyze data and evaluate results to make effective decisions • Highly motivated, positive attitude professional capable of juggling multiple tasks simultaneously • Open to travel within a designated geographic area (national and international), as needed • Capable of learning and keeping up with the latest marketing and digital trends and tech • Comfortable with numbers and reporting tools (i.e., Microsoft, Tableau, Snowflake, Cloudera, and others) • Able to adapt to change and meet the everchanging needs of the real estate industry • Available to respond to last minute, time sensitive, requests outside normal business hours • Proficient in MS Office platforms, especially PowerPoint and Excel • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus • College degree required (Marketing, Computer Science, Business Administration, or any Digital major); MBA or MS preferred
