A rapidly expanding boutique agency specializing in healthcare communications is on the lookout for a talented Account Director to join their newly established team in Boston. This agency focuses on promotional advertising and medical communications, working closely with clients to translate scientific concepts into engaging narratives through innovative strategies.
With a proven history of securing new business, they are looking to grow their team to sustain this momentum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily client interactions, ensuring the effective implementation of promotional advertising campaigns
- Engage in both healthcare professional and patient-centered projects
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client communications, collaborating with internal teams to achieve results
- Partner with strategy, creative, and medical teams to create impactful, high-quality campaigns.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and optimization.
- Approach challenges with a problem-solving attitude, focusing on solutions rather than just identifying issues
Essential criteria:
- 5-7 years of experience in healthcare communications, particularly in HCP and patient marketing
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced boutique agency setting, taking initiative and driving projects without needing constant supervision
- A strategic thinker who can share ideas and collaborate effectively in a team
- Experience working on fast paced accounts, rare disease experience would be advantageous
- Ability to travel to Boston (approx. twice monthly)
