UCF Athletics - Men's Basketball

Under the oversight of the Head Coach, Men’s Basketball, position is to be actively engaged in the organization and administration of the men’s basketball program within UCF, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations, with emphasis on the capturing, editing and management of practice / game video content for player development, team development and scouting.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Oversight and organization of all technology used by men’s basketball coaches, players, and staff.
• Oversight and organization of film capturing during games and practices.
• Manage/coordinate/organize related film editing for coaches, players and staff
• Oversight and organization of opponent film acquisition and editing for scouting purposes
• Manage inventory of related equipment ensuring all equipment/supplies are available when necessary
• Oversight of men’s basketball technology budget. Assists Head Coach in planning for future needs / expenses related to video technology
• Management/supervision of managers related to coaching video technology and practice/game breakdowns
• Assists with the recruitment process of prospective student-athletes within all NCAA, Conference, UCF and UCFAA rules, policies and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and two years appropriate experience.
• Appropriate graduate coursework or master’s degree may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous basketball experience (student-athlete, coach, administrator) at the collegiate level or higher
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Due to the nature/scope of Athletics and Athletics events, position may require work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time and occasional travel.
