Content Writing and Editorial Manager!
The Content Writing & Editorial Manager is an avid writer and editor working to support the execution of content creation efforts across channels and maintaining the editorial standards of a best-in-class global content team. This position serves as the primary writer and editor for brand content, producing long and short-form content that educates, engages, and delights our audiences. The Content Writing and Editorial Manager partners cross functionally with digital, loyalty, marketing activation, communications, operations, among many others in order to provide strategic editorial review and guidance for brand-related content, as well as lead the development of editorial guidelines, resources, and standards that support the execution of content across channels that builds brand trust and deliver on excellence in editorial standards.

This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO, with a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities
Provide editorial oversight and direction to agency partners, freelance writers, and internal stakeholders and content creators
Manage and standardize the approval process with appropriate stakeholder teams per content type and/or request
Write and edit content for rental and all lines of business across channels including but not limited to advertorials/native articles, content channels such as social media and web, content extensions, utilitarian components, multi-media, video scripts and website development
Ensure timely production of editorial content
Conduct interviews with subject matter experts, research feature stories, and write with clarity, accuracy, and confidence
Manage and evolve written editorial standards to support the execution of consistent brand content that is impactful and easily understood
Generate and pitch story ideas that build brand trust and authentically connect to audiences
Continually synthesize data and evaluate audiences and content performance to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
Serve as a subject matter expert in content development and writing as well as support the Content Marketing Center of Excellence through the development of training, best practices, templates, and processes
Maintain brand standards and ensure all content and messages comply with these standards
Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting

QualificationsMinimum:
Bachelor’s Degree
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Three (3+) or more years of digital editorial experience
Seven (7+) or more years of Marketing, public relations, communications, content creation or journalism experience
Experience in brand storytelling, content marketing
Social media editorial experience, familiar with social media channels, best practices, tactics, and specs/formats
Ability to travel (up to 20%)
Preferred
:
Web CMS experience
Experience with digital toolsets for website analytics, social media metrics, SEO, and digital marketing metrics
Previous experience with multi-media journalism
