Job Description
The Multimedia Specialist develops and leads all videography, photography, and multimedia efforts for the Albion Center, creating visually compelling content that supports the Center’s mission and national reach. This includes promotional videos, instructional media, graphics, animations, and photography aligned with university brand and accessibility standards.
This position requires proximity to the Pocatello Campus for work in the Albion offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Storyboard and create compelling video/photo content for the Albion Center professional development courses, as well as, content for paid advertisements, web, newsletters, and social media that enhances the Albion Center’s nationwide presence
- Lead all aspects of video production (scripting, shooting, editing, post-production, data tracking, set-up, etc.) and plan, design, and produce multimedia content including videos, animations, infographics, and other digital visuals
- Coordinate and capture all photography for the Albion Center, including working closely with students and K-12 schools to shoot footage (Travel will be required)
- Develop and oversee a content calendar, ensuring a steady flow of relevant, high-quality content
- Ensure content meets accessibility guidelines, including subtitles, and is optimized for web, mobile, and social media platforms and uphold university branding and marketing standards across all digital media
- Research media trends, audience behavior, and emerging technologies to keep content current, engaging, and relevant and participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in filmmaking, broadcasting, marketing, journalism or related field, OR at least six (6) years of relevant professional experience
- Three (3) years of professional experience with Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or related software
- Proven ability to work both collaboratively and independently on complex projects with strict deadlines
- Ability to travel when needed
- Ability to provide a portfolio of past work
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with animation/motion graphics in video
- Strong storytelling skills and creative mindset
- Strong organization skills with the ability to manage and file multiple projects simultaneously
Additional Information

Salary will be between $55,000 - $60,000 per year,commensurate with education and experience.
