JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re seeking a Video Director & Producer who is equal parts creative visionary , strategic thinker , and hands-on editor . This is a unique opportunity to lead the visual storytelling for a mission-driven brand that’s growing fast and dedicated to health innovation. From live event shoots and interviews to course production and social content, you’ll be at the center of our video content universe.
By capitalizing on the company’s unique position within the healthcare industry and its premier location, you will help position Cure to become the go-to destination for healthcare innovators seeking to network, learn, grow and advance healthcare.
Reporting to the Chief Content Officer, the Video Lead will own the success of our video content creation efforts. They will collaborate closely with members of the leadership team and key stakeholders to execute the vision and deliver upon key metrics. The ideal candidate will have experience in health care video strategy, creation, and distribution to drive audience and increase engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Strategic Production Planning . Work closely with the team to conceptualize and plan high-impact video projects—from conferences and panels to video courses, sponsored content, and brand campaigns.
· Directing & Producing . Lead shoots in-person. Coordinate logistics, equipment, and crews as needed. Direct talent and ensure top-tier production quality.
· On-the-Fly Editing . Capture and edit content in real-time or same-day when needed—especially for events, reels, and high-turnaround deliverables.
· Video Course Development . Help design the video experience for educational content—plan scenes, collaborate with design on graphics, write scripts in partnership with subject matter experts, oversee shoots, and shape the narrative structure.
· Social Video & Storytelling . Help create engaging short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) that aligns with our brand voice and vision.
· Post-Production Leadership . Manage post shoot edits, workflows, motion graphics, sound, and delivery. Maintain consistency across formats and platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Proven experience in video production (health and / or education strongly preferred) with 5+ years of experience.
· Are equally comfortable behind the camera, in the editing suite, or brainstorming creative strategy.
· Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments where flexibility and initiative matter.
· Adept in Adobe Premiere (and familiar with After Effects, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve).
· Ability to strategically build our tool and studio capabilities.
· Know-how to set up lighting, audio, and video gear for both professional shoots and casual content.
· Able to travel occasionally for on-location production.
· Desire to bring ideas to the table and collaborate.
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
· Exemplary leadership skills with the ability to build consensus and work collaboratively.
· Creative problem solver able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
· Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues.
· High energy individual with a proven track record of delivering on aggressive goals and deadlines.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
· Base salary is dependent on experience with a range of $130,000 – 150,000 annualized.
· Exemplary benefits package including employer-paid healthcare, in-house café and gym.
Please note that this is an on site position. Cure follows a Monday-Thursday in office and Friday remote policy. Hours/Days are subject to change based on event support needs.
