The PT Commercial Producer will be responsible for developing innovative commercial spots from concept to completion. Experience in creative scripting, shooting, and non-linear editing is required.
Responsibilities include:
- Writing, shooting, and editing content to tell compelling stories
- Collaborating with the creative team and stakeholders to produce on-brand videos and digital content
- Coordinating asset exchange, taking meeting notes
- Managing multiple projects with varying styles while providing excellent client service
- Handling production logistics, including working with clients, agencies, planning locations, talent, and technical equipment
- Managing video equipment and software needs
- Mentoring junior producers as needed
- Scripting and shooting both short and long-form spots from start to finish
- Interpreting client needs and developing design briefs based on data and information
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Requirements & Skills:
- 1-2 years of commercial or promotional production experience, or relevant college degree
- Strong knowledge of post-production, media management, and encoding video formats
- Understanding of marketing and design principles
- Proficiency with HD cameras, videography, motion graphics, and lighting techniques
- Advanced editing skills
- Passion for staying current with production trends and pushing creative boundaries
- Experience with live multi-camera production and microwave trucks is preferred
- Proficiency in Adobe CC Suite: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, Media Encoder
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Availability for occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; some travel may be required
- Strong understanding of design fundamentals, color, typography, and composition
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
