Job Title: AV/Telecom Support Technician
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AV/Telecom support technician
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related discipline
- Experience using collaboration and conferencing tools such as Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams
- Experience with Vyopta, Pexip CVI, Magic Info, Novisign, Cisco TMS and Expressway is a plus
- Technical, analytical, and presentation skills with a high degree of self-motivation and can-do attitude with strong MS Office skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adhere to tight deadlines
- Resilient and result driven to meet the required deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
Responsibilities
- Run corporate webcasts and provide support for UC technologies such as Webex, Microsoft Teams and Cisco video conferencing
- Provide support to UC engineers for Telecom projects, perform statistical analysis, analyze datasets and generate reports
- Planning, executing, tracking multiple meetings
- Keep up to date on virtual event technology
- Liaison between facilities and Booking team
- Scheduling, booking, planning events, conduct dry-runs, pre-production and post-production
- Attend meetings with stakeholders to identify issues and make recommendations
- Provide expert Conference Room AV Support, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly and effectively
- Demonstrate proficiency in working with and supporting Cisco Video Conferencing equipment
- Familiarity with Poly phones and their setup within conference rooms
- Assist in troubleshooting Microsoft Teams Meetings
- Deliver IT AV support for large group meetings and events
- Maintain accurate records of AV equipment inventory, configurations, and maintenance activities
