Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience as an architect or solution designer within a product engineering environment, preferably in the Telecom or Cable industry.
- Proven experience across the full software development life cycle in enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong team collaboration skills with a proactive, "can-do/will-do" attitude.
- Experience with architectural design tools.
- Strong background in application design and development.
- Proficiency with relational databases and/or Open SQL databases.
- Ability to develop cost estimates and business cases for system/software development.
- Understanding of technologies including Voice, Data (Wavelength, Ethernet, SD-WAN), Video, and Wireless.
- Experience with CRM systems, order management platforms, and network automation tools.
- Exposure to or experience with cloud architecture and cloud-native solutions.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Architect and design scalable, maintainable commercial network orchestration and integration frameworks.
- Design project-specific solutions leveraging existing integration frameworks.
- Define end-to-end (E2E) solutions across the full service lifecycle.
- Evaluate and design solutions for Network Orchestration systems and integrations.
- Develop integration solutions for Comcast's B4B Connectivity products (Waves, Ethernet, Direct2Cloud, etc.) and coordinate with vendors for onboarding and system compatibility.
- Design enhancements for automation systems supporting new product features, including network configuration management.
- Provide architecture support for data structuring and service modeling initiatives.
- Utilize enterprise SOA principles to create microservices-based solutions integrated with Comcast's distributed applications and core network.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define requirements and translate them into functional and technical designs.
- Create and maintain conceptual and logical service, XML/JSON, and data models.
- Lead the development of functional design documents and use cases.
- Build prototypes to evaluate and validate new concepts aligned with future technology roadmaps.
- Use Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., RallyDev) for development planning and tracking.
- Perform additional technical responsibilities as assigned.
