In-House Videographer/Editor at Goldie Locks
Goldie Locks is seeking a dynamic and skilled in-house Videographer/Editor to join our growing team. This full-time role will be a key player in our marketing division, collaborating closely with our social and Marketing teams.
As part of a beauty brand dedicated to delivering high-performance products, you'll create compelling visual content for our social channels and website platforms.
This role is ideal for someone with strong video editing expertise and a passion for beauty and hair care content. You will work with an established in-house hair salon, stylists, and creatives to produce engaging, results-driven content. If you're a creative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands current social media trends, and enjoys a challenge, this is the role for you!
You must be living in or able to commute to St George, UT three days a week. Relocation is considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Editing & Production: Edit videos for social media, YouTube, Meta, ads, and other marketing platforms. Reels, product features, and behind-the-scenes content will be a focus.
- Video & Photo Creation: Collaborate closely with stylists and internal teams to create engaging visual content that highlights Goldie Locks products and services.
- Content Development: Help define and execute the visual look and feel for our brand. Add animated text, video effects, and ensure high-quality production for all content.
- Research & Trends: Stay on top of the latest video and social media trends, applying them to Goldie Locks content to maintain relevance and engagement.
- Organize and Archive Content: Maintain and organize video and photo assets on backup drives, ensuring smooth access for marketing and content teams.
- Collaboration: Communicate with the internal team to plan content for upcoming product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Content Strategy: Assist in brainstorming creative ideas for videos and other promotional content.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of professional experience in video editing and production (ideally in beauty, hair care, or lifestyle content).
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom). Experience with DaVinci Resolve and color grading is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media marketing trends and content strategy for platforms like Instagram and YouTube.
- Experience in video and photo composition, lighting, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, solutions-focused attitude, with a willingness to pitch in wherever necessary.
- Haircare or beauty industry experience is preferred but not required.
