The Home Depot Position Purpose The Sr. Virtual Design Specialist is part of the Services Operations Selling Center Contact team. The Virtual Apron Support Team engages and supports customers online, in-home, and in-store virtually. The Sr. Virtual Design Specialist provides tailored suggestions and solutions through consultative selling and visual merchandising presentations that inspire customers. This role offers expert and professional sales support, qualifying new customers, designing/customizing according to customer needs, creating quotes, obtaining payments, and ensuring a differentiated customer experience. Key Responsibilities Customer Service (30%) : Answer store associate product knowledge and configurator calls, leveraging product knowledge and training materials to coach and grow associates. Other Duties (10%) : Perform additional duties as required by management. Sales (30%) : Make open quote customer calls, manage a positive customer experience, and deliver the right product at the right price. Support (30%) : Handle High-Value orders, Blueprint work, and Pro Account sales. Reporting Structure This position typically reports to the Contact Center Supervisor. Has no direct reports. Travel Requirements Overnight travel less than 5% of the time. Physical Requirements Primarily sitting with frequent movement; occasional lifting of light articles. Working Conditions Located in a comfortable indoor environment; infrequent unpleasant conditions. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years or older. Legally permitted to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and PowerPoint. Proficiency in 2020 Design Software. Effective collaboration and communication skills. Customer service or retail sales experience. Consultative selling experience and Blueprint knowledge. Experience with Pro sales representatives and managed accounts. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED. Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
