Gaddis United Methodist Church in Comfort, TX, is looking for a Music Director. The job currently is leading a small group of musicians and vocal talent with an occasional hand bell choir. We are looking for someone familiar with both a blend of traditional and contemporary music. The Music Director will be asked to create and implement the musical format of the service under the direction of the Pastor. The Music Director will lead singing in our services and provide occasional solos within their core proficiency. Keyboard/piano skills are desirable, but not necessary.
This part time position will require your presence on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and occasionally during the week for memorial services and special services, as needed. The Church is located at 141 US 87, Comfort, TX 78013. Salary commensurate upon your ability and skill sets.
