GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
Our Visual Display Associate will implement and maintain showroom floor displays. They will design and create merchandising displays and fixture presentations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate with store leadership to discuss and plan showroom floor design, layout, display focal points, items to be displayed, and create design flow.
- Design displays based on theme, style, trend, and current advertising.
- Incorporate accessories to compliment styles and trends while constructing displays which may include painting, wiring, design, layout, etc.
- Actively optimize lighting to showcase the displays and maximize customer engagement.
- Arrange tags and signage to enhance presentation of merchandise while reflecting current promotions, and customer engagement.
- Set-up, maintain, and remove displays based on direction from store leadership and promotions. Maintain inventory records accordingly.
- Receive, replenish, uncrate, and assemble accessories.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1-2 years practical interior design, display merchandising experience, and/or staging homes
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow through
- Multi-task and prioritize while maintaining accuracy
- High School diploma or equivalent required, further education in Interior Design preferred
- Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis without assistance and comfortable using and climbing ladders
