The Showroom Visual Merchandiser will coordinate, design, and display all store merchandise to promote sales of furniture and accessories. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the store interior to create an engaging shopping environment. We seek a creative retail Visual Merchandiser to increase sales, attract buyers' attention, and deliver an excellent in-store experience. The goal is to use visual merchandising to convert window shoppers into prospects, support branding and sales objectives, and maximize profitability.
The Store Visual Merchandiser is responsible for implementing all merchandising strategies aligned with the company's goal of providing an enjoyable, easy shopping experience to foster new and repeat business.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall presentation of the showroom.
- Execute floor set changes, including updates for new and discontinued items.
- Create, implement, and audit product tagging and point of purchase (POP) materials.
- Participate actively in visual training programs.
- Implement layout changes based on customer demands and product focus.
- Assist in cataloging damaged goods and processing returns.
- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Develop extensive knowledge of all products, promotions, and store functions.
- Demonstrate the company's core values in all job functions.
Skills & Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in interior design or retail home furnishings as a visual merchandiser.
- Strong visual design skills with a retail merchandising portfolio.
- Experience in window displays, interior displays, signage, and space utilization.
- Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Creative, innovative, and analytical thinking skills.
- Bachelor's degree in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, exhibition design, or related field.
