Join a leading architecture and interior design firm as a Senior Design Leader. Primary Responsibilities
- Provide design leadership on projects, guiding the client and project team to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Set the design direction and effectively communicate the narrative behind the designs.
- Engage closely with clients to address their needs and show the commitment to exceptional service.
- Mentor and lead younger designers, teaching them to navigate client interactions and the design process smoothly.
- Consistently prepare and present design proposals for medium to large projects with a focus on winning engagements.
- Lead concept design sessions and storytelling efforts with a diverse team to identify innovative experiences for clients.
- Collaborate with strategic planners to explore creative solutions that redefine everyday paradigms.
- Build and maintain trust with the project team, clients, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work in tandem with contractors to combine design and construction expertise for well-crafted environments.
- Take on additional responsibilities that support project and business goals.
- Participate actively in industry events to represent the firm and cultivate future opportunities.
- Engage in project bidding processes to secure new work.

Qualifications & Key Competencies
- 10-14 years of experience in workplace interior design or architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), InDesign.
- A strong portfolio showcasing signature conceptual designs, including significant workplace transformation projects.
- Active market presence and engagement in industry events.
- Proven success in maintaining design integrity from concept to construction.
- Ability to manage and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for mentoring younger designers and fostering a positive team culture.
- Self-motivated with the capacity to inspire others.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with adaptability to changing priorities.
- Capable of working collaboratively as well as demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit.
- Skilled in engaging with senior leadership and global team members.

Salary range: $130K - $150K based on experience.
