Job Description
The Graphic Designer supports a variety of design projects across all ministries to help lead people to be growing followers of Jesus who love God and love people. This person reports to the Digital and Communications Director.
Schedule
This is a part-time, exempt position requiring 28 hours per week. The schedule includes designated office hours during the week, and occasional flexibility for events outside of regular hours.
Experience & Abilities
- Education: Degree or equivalent work experience in graphic design is preferred.
- Experience: A proven proficiency in design including brand management.
- License/Certification: A valid PA drivers license.
- Specific Abilities: Proficient with MacOS and Adobe Creative Suite. Familiar with Microsoft apps. Detail-oriented, values quality, able to multitask and perform assigned tasks with limited supervision. Skilled at designing marketing materials and resources. Excellent people skills and professional presentation in a collaborative working environment.
Bonus: Photography skills, social media strategy, UX/UI design knowledge, printing knowledge, experience in Basecamp or other project management software.
What This Person Does
- Design for WC main brand and across all ministries including materials for print, web, social media, LED screens, email, merchandise, posters, booklets, etc.
- Help to manage, implement, and innovate using Worship Centers brand guide including development and maintenance of sub-brands for WC ministries.
- Collaborate and design for building environment updates.
- Assist the Digital and Communications team with social media tasks including brainstorming and scheduling posts.
- Serve WC ministries by providing graphic design needs as assigned through project pitch requests.
- Be the point person for in-house printing projects booklets, cards, etc.
- Order promotional materials, print projects, and merchandise as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
