JOB DESCRIPTION: ASSOCIATE PRODUCER
Reports to: Executive Producer
Job Type:Full-time Salaried Exempt position (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:
- Create, produce and edit spots for Community Partners and Underwriting clients
- Work with Production staff to assemble-edit local WEDU programs
- Write short form scripts
- Build graphics
- Uphold excellent grammar, spelling and attention to detail in all content produced
- Ensure PBS and Underwriting editorial standards are met
- Schedule internal and Community Partnership voiceover sessions and shoots
- Coordinate with Content, Traffic and Underwriting departments to develop and deliver projects to required specifications
- Maintain accurate records and files for all projects
- Support Production team with creation of high-quality content as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in relevant field such as film, media, or communications, or 2 years work experience in similar role
- Hands-on experience in video production, including producing, writing and editing
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with proficiency in Premiere, Aftereffects and Photoshop
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Flexible and collaborative work ethic
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
