We’re looking for a full time Sr. Event Producer to join our team. As a senior producer you will maintain, strengthen and grow relationships with clients through management of small to large projects, constant communication and exceptional planning and organization.

You will get your hands dirty leading project teams and translating creative ideas into successful project plans and deliverables across disciplines. Beyond the fundamental producer skills listed below, Inkling looks for Producers who excel in critical thinking, analytical skills and communication with both internal and external teams, clients especially. The producer is the channel of communication ensuring client needs are heard, interpreted and met through a project’s execution.

The ideal candidate for this position will thrive working on integrated projects across departments, with a focus on experiential and general marketing efforts - ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to Inkling’s production standards.

The role requires an interest in traveling to events, being the first one onsite and the last one leaving as vendors close up their trucks. You'll get to see first hand an empty field get built into an experience, venue takeovers and stage productions that amaze both our attendees and our clients, as the lead for each project.

At Inkling you’ll...

• Be responsible for excellence in day-to-day aspects of production including scoping and ballparking creative concepts, building detailed project schedules, managing project scope, researching and securing production resources, quality controlling all deliverables, maintaining project documentation and communication with project teams.
• Take personal accountability for on-time project deliverables.
• Be able to work independently, sometimes on concurrent projects, while ensuring projects run seamlessly, on time and on budget while meeting or exceeding client and creative objectives.
• Be able to research, source and select production vendors that best fit project needs, scope, timelines and provide Inkling expected quality of service.
• Lead communication and oversight of project health across departments, including Creative, Production, Development and provide timely project updates to both internal Leadership and client project leads.
• Represent and grow relationships through Inkling’s standard of excellence with the external production industry.
• Lead and elevate impactful and thoughtful project plans for both digital and physical brand experiences.
• Champion collaborative creative development processes; good ideas win here - no matter where they come from.

This role requires...

• 8+ years in event management and production at an agency, production company or similar.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
• Mastery of Google Suite, specifically Slides.
• Positive-minded problem-solving and negotiation skills required.
• Able to apply critical and strategic thinking.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external clients and vendors at a variety of levels and across functions.
• Ability to self-manage and work remotely with video calls and collaborative tools.
• Highly organized with a keen sense of attention to detail.
• After-hours work and periodic travel to on-site projects and shoots required.

Preferred credentials...

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, production or similar discipline.
• On-site experience providing creative solutions to unexpected problems.
• Based in NYC Metro Area, available to work hybrid from Inkling's Bushwick office.
