Within Global Supplier Technology (GST), the Supplier Advertising team owns the strategy, design, engineering, go to market, and analytics of Wayfair’s Advertising offerings, a key part of Wayfair’s growth trajectory.
As a Senior Product Manager on our Supplier Advertising team, you will own the 0-to-1 launch of new advertising offerings on a highly visible team while laying the foundation for multi-team scope. You will partner with user experience design, machine learning, business stakeholders, and engineering teams across our supplier and shopper experiences. You will launch new advertising offerings and optimize existing experiences to maximize value from our advertising portfolio.
Success in this role will require you to balance the needs of our suppliers, customers shopping our site, and the marketplace overall. Specifically, this role will be responsible for doing this within our upper funnel advertising offerings, such as display media.
What You'll Do
Leverage a deep understanding of our customers, business strategy, and KPIs to define and drive the vision for upper funnel advertising offerings at Wayfair.
Use a combination of user experience and data science to optimize our advertising offerings to improve supplier outcomes and maximize value to the Wayfair business.
Own roadmap planning and manage execution with dedicated Engineering, Machine Learning Science, and Analytics teams. Evolve our strategy as we learn and adjust our business goals, and work cross-functionally to continually improve velocity of insights and experimentation.
Define product requirements in collaboration with cross-functional and cross-department teams across supplier experience, ad serving, profitability, and pricing algo teams.
Partner with the engineering team to drive timely and smooth execution through sprint rituals like grooming, planning and retrospective.
Influence the evolution of Wayfair's strategy for advertising offerings.
What You'll Need
5+ years experience in product management.
Experience with advertising is preferred.
Experience leading technical products and cross-functional / cross-org initiatives with deep understanding of business strategy.
Excellent quantitative skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights and requirements.
Ability to keep up in highly technical conversations.
Ability to think and act both tactically and strategically.
Ability to work with and influence senior leaders (Director+) across various functional areas.
