Web Designer 8 Month Contract Irving TX, Hybrid (3 days onsite per week) The Web Designer will be responsible for Banks internal and external communications including marketing communications through designing the layout and aesthetic for the companys websites. Additionally, they will determine the technical requirements of webpages, troubleshoot, and perform quality assurance testing. This includes front-end development and design for webpages, optimizing websites for desktop and mobile platforms, collaborating on templates and refining designs. They will also engage with multiple stakeholders within the Bank to preview layouts and website features and will work to increase engagement, build brand awareness, and drive traffic to the companys website. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for designing the overall layout and aesthetic for the Banks websites: front-end development and design for webpages, optimizing websites for desktop and mobile platforms, meeting with management to review website templates or refine designs, collaborating with Communications and running tests to preview layouts and website features. Ensure that all websites are up to date with current information and material, as well as site functionality is maintained, and files are backed up; and set the standard for web quality and service. Design webpage layouts and implement brand standards consistently. Edit video, produce motion graphics for use on the website and in videos and design various communications, marketing, and web materials. Test and improve design of websites; perform ongoing front-end optimization and maintenance. Collect data and share insights of web development and user experience. Determine technical requirements of webpages, troubleshoot, and solve coding issues and perform quality assurance testing. JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree in art, design, communications, marketing, or related field Experience working as a Web Designer, with a solid portfolio Significant experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps and user interface designs. Practical Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience with XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffect or other visual design and wire-framing tools Strong graphic design and visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction Knowledge of JavaScript and JQuery a big plus SKILLS Adobe Creative Suite Graphics Animation/Design HTML coding Managing and maintaining Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Search Engine Optimization Video/Audio Editing Content management system Kentico, WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager Digital Marketing/ Print design and production
