JUMPEM LLC , a growing leader in web development and marketing, is seeking a Full-Stack Web Developer to join our team on-site, full-time.

We specialize in custom WordPress development, crafting high-performance, fully tailored solutions without reliance on prebuilt themes or page builders. If you're passionate about building custom, scalable, and maintainable websites, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

• Translate Figma designs into responsive, high-quality front-end interfaces
• Develop and maintain custom functionality within CMS
• Work with PHP to build backend features and customizations
• Integrate third-party APIs and services
• Optimize sites for performance, SEO, and Core Web Vitals
• Use GitHub and version control for development and deployment workflows
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack
• Collaborate with clients/team to develop new features, enhance functionality, and provide ongoing support for existing projects.

Qualifications (Required):

• 3-5 years of experience in full-stack web development, with a focus on front and back-end development
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (CS) or a related field preferred, but candidates with equivalent professional experience will be considered
• Strong experience building fully custom themes/templates from scratch (without reliance on web builders like Elementor, Divi, etc.)
• Experience with templating languages (Twig, Blade, Timber, or similar)
• Proficiency in PHP for backend development and WordPress customization
• Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases, including writing efficient queries and optimizing database performance
• Understanding of database design and structure for scalability and maintainability
• Experience integrating databases with WordPress for dynamic functionality
• Experience implementing custom design work from Figma or similar tools
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and structured data implementation
• Experience working with API integrations and third-party services
• Experience with version control (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
• Proficiency with debugging tools such as Chrome DevTools, Firebug, or similar
• Understanding of QA processes and deployment workflows to ensure smooth project launches

Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Nice to Have):

• Experience with advanced WordPress features such as custom post types, custom fields, and advanced theme/plugin development
• Experience with React, Vue, or Node.js
• Familiarity with Headless CMS implementations
• Strong understanding of accessibility (WCAG compliance)
• Experience with server-side performance tuning
• Knowledge of modern authentication methods (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
• Ability to write automated tests for front-end and back-end code
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud-based deployments
