Job Description
Our client has an opening for a Web Developer to support the National Security Team.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain web services, including development, configuration management, etc.
- Design, implement, test, and support network management-based applications and front-end development, documenting design ideas.
- Participate in requirement gathering sessions.
- Collaborate on Web application architecture design and decision-making.
- Participate in troubleshooting and issue resolution for web applications post-deployment.
- Address production issues as needed.
- Solve complex production problems.
- Anticipate emerging customer needs and develop innovative solutions.
Additionally, candidates should have experience with:
- Four or more years of Full Stack development experience.
- Intermediate or higher knowledge of Tableau or similar reporting and visualization tools.
- Experience with JSON, XML, complaint APIs, OpenSSL, and PKI protections.
- Experience with code coverage, unit testing, mocking, and integration testing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Agile & Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, SQL.
- Experience with Oracle or other relational databases.
- Development of RESTful Web Services.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Knowledge of Unit Test frameworks.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Chef.
- Knowledge of Node.js, AngularJS.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as GIT and Jenkins.
- Experience with open-source content management systems like Joomla or Drupal.
Minimum Requirements
Candidate must have 10 years of experience, which can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 3 years of experience, or a Masters and 4 years, Bachelors and 6 years, Associates and 8 years, or High School and 10 years. Degree must be in Computer Science or a related technical field.
