Spring Health is on a mission to revolutionize mental healthcare by removing barriers to access. They are incubating a new venture and seeking a Staff Product Designer to be the founding design individual contributor. The role involves defining the end-to-end experience for a new product expanding access to mental healthcare, collaborating with cross-functional teams including GM, Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Go-To-Market partners. Responsibilities include owning product experiences from discovery through delivery, designing user journeys, flows, and interfaces across mobile, web, and service touchpoints, developing a lightweight design system, and evangelizing design across the venture and Spring Health. Success is measured by launching a v1 product with usability and engagement, integrating user research into product strategy, maintaining design quality, and embedding Spring’s core values in design decisions. Requirements include 8+ years of product design experience, strong portfolio, research-driven design expertise, proficiency in Figma, usability and accessibility knowledge, excellent communication, and comfort with ambiguity and MVP shipping. Nice to have are healthcare product experience, AI/ML design, motion design skills, and early-stage design system experience. The role is hybrid based in New York City with 2-3 days in office at 60 Madison Avenue.
