We are seeking an Associate Director to join the Verizon Connect Marketing team, responsible for leading the development and execution of our paid media and website strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement and consideration, and ultimately customer acquisition. Reporting directly to Verizon Connect's Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the successful candidate will oversee a team of digital marketing professionals with a strong focus on data and conversion optimization across multi-channels, and ensure alignment with the overall business and marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, innovative leader with a proven track record of leading paid media and website teams to accelerate, scale, and optimize our go-to-market engine, driving brand awareness, consideration, and acquisition. In this role, the Associate Director will be responsible for developing and executing our paid media and website strategies to promote our brand and propel the prospect pipeline. We are looking for a candidate with a strategic and tactical understanding of digital platforms, including paid search, lead generation aggregator partners, social media (e.g., LinkedIn, Meta, etc.), programmatic display, and digital video. This role requires a deep understanding of strategic design, conversion rate optimization (CRO), search engine optimization (SEO), content distribution, product positioning, and the ability to collaborate with developer teams for timely delivery. The Associate Director of Web and Media Strategy will have a proven track record in either a B2B or B2C company, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to understanding and navigating the customer funnel, spend efficiency, and ongoing optimization. This individual should possess a perpetual curiosity for finding new and innovative ways to boost performance and increase efficacy. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and engage professionally with executive leadership and diverse stakeholders across marketing, IT, sales, operations, and product teams is essential. Your creative, strategic, and execution-focused mindset should be backed by an analytical approach to customer journey mapping, enabling you to relentlessly fine-tune our go-to-market strategy, optimize prospect pipeline generation, and enhance brand perception in the market. Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development & Execution Develop and implement a data-driven digital marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
Define short-term and long-term digital marketing objectives, KPIs, and budgets.
Identify emerging digital trends and technologies.
Team Leadership & Collaboration Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing digital marketing team.
Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams across the business.
Partner with the CMO to align digital strategies with overarching marketing initiatives.
Digital Channel Management Lead the management of 18 websites, UX, design, CRO, SEO, SEM, and paid media.
Ensure consistent brand messaging and a unified customer experience across digital touchpoints.
Performance Measurement & Optimization Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
Drive continuous optimization of digital to improve ROI and conversion rates.
Use data analytics to inform decision-making and refine digital marketing strategies.
Technology & Tools Evaluate and implement digital marketing tools and platforms to enhance effectiveness and conversion.
Ensure effective use of data to support personalization and lead nurturing.
Budget & Resource Management Manage the digital marketing budget to maximize effectiveness and ROI.
Prioritize initiatives based on potential impact and resource availability.
What we're looking for... You'll need to have: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field alternatively four or more years of experience.
Eight or more year o proven experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Understanding of design, UX, CRO and lead flows.
Expertise in digital marketing channels, tools, and analytics platforms.
Experience leading a team.
Even better if you have: Master's degree.
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working in a SaaS business.
Where you'll be working
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $118,000.00 and $219,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
