The Enterprise Content Marketing Strategist is part of the Enterprise Social Media and Content Strategy team, serving as a key contributor to its impact & innovation arm.
The Strategist is responsible for developing and executing distinct and robust content marketing plans that drive awareness, engagement, and retention. They participate in quarterly marketing planning and deliver integrated multi-channel strategies encompassing editorial, web-based content, social media, marketing, video, podcast content, and more.
This role requires expertise in digital content, social media, and digital marketing tactics to help partner teams create distinctive and relevant content experiences that drive action. Success is measured against KPIs, including awareness and consideration, as well as mid funnel engagement and driving website traffic.
To support this broad scope, the Strategist must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing multiple projects simultaneously. They will work both independently and in project management roles, ensuring the successful execution of content creation, publishing, distribution, and social media activation.
Responsibilities
-Develops marketing, communications, and digital content strategies focused on new market experiences and real-time innovation.
Prepares creative and data-driven multi-channel recommendations, considering market trends, customer needs, business objectives, resource availability, and cost.
Manages the execution of interactive digital content initiatives that enhance customer experiences and drive business outcomes.
-Drives projects forward independently, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget while maintaining high attention to detail
Balances competing priorities while managing multiple business line relationships and content marketing strategies.
-Independently leads cross-functional collaboration with internal and external partners to execute content strategies efficiently.
Manages project workflows, ensuring clear communication, defined timelines, and proper resource allocation.
-Partners with social media strategists to align content initiatives with social activation strategies.
-Manages all budget commitments and billing functions related to content and social execution plans.
-Monitors and provides analysis of content performance, including data-driven insights and optimization recommendations.
-Delivers digital content and marketing expertise to peer teams to help engage prospects and customers after mass media exposure.
-Maintains strong project management discipline, ensuring timely execution and seamless coordination across teams.
Experience
7+ years of experience in digital content, marketing, or website content teams.
5+ years of social media marketing experience, with an emphasis on engagement tactics and paid distribution.
3+ years of experience producing timely & relevant content
Strong project management skills, with the ability to independently drive projects from ideation to completion while managing multiple priorities.
Proven ability to manage multiple large projects with a high degree of attention to detail.
Client/customer management experience through agency, platform, or internal project management roles.
Experience with social media, content measurement, and digital analytics platforms
Vendor/agency management experience is a plus.
Education
Bachelors Degree or comparable experience required.
Hours and Schedule:
Hours: 40
Schedule: M-F 8-5 Hybrid in Westwood MA office 3 days and 2 days remote.
