Overview
Oversee the accurate processing of trades, including trade capture, confirmation, and settlement, ensuring adherence to internal and regulatory standards.
Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of cash and positions with custodians and internal systems, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
Support and review processes for the integrity and accuracy of data within investment management systems, including updates and maintenance of security and pricing data.
Assist in compliance monitoring by ensuring all operational processes align with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Contribute to and support reporting process on investment performance, transaction activity, and operational metrics for internal stakeholders.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, counterparties, third party vendors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution.
Ideal profile and characteristics:
~ Bachelor's degree in finance / economics, accounting, business administration, computer science, data management or a related field.
~0-3 years of experience in investment operations, trade support, loan agency or a related internship within financial services.
~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with a strong emphasis on Excel.
~ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
~ Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
