Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Writer to create, edit, and maintain high-quality documentation, manuals, reference guides, and other corporate communication materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical writing background and the ability to transform complex information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and edit corporate documentation, including manuals, user guides, reference materials, process documentation, and corporate reports.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity in all written materials.
- Maintain and update existing documentation to align with product updates, regulatory requirements, and business needs.
- Use industry-standard tools and software to create structured documentation, including diagrams, flowcharts, and technical illustrations.
- Develop and enforce corporate documentation standards, style guides, and templates.
- Conduct research and analyze information to produce content that meets the needs of the target audience.
- Organize and structure information logically to enhance readability and accessibility.
- Review and proofread documents for grammar, formatting, and compliance with company guidelines.
- Assist in the development of training materials and internal knowledge bases.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in technical writing.
Specific Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, Information Technology, or a related field, preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in technical writing, documentation, or content creation in a corporate or technical environment.
- Experience with version control and content management systems.
- Ability to simplify complex technical information for various audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
